Russian National TV Channel features iEARN and Adobe Youth Voices

ORT, the Russian National TV Channel One, features iEARN and Adobe Youth Voices in their report about the beginning of the school year in Russia.

Katerina Kibaltchich, an ORT reporter and the AYV Media Mentor in Moscow, presents new developments in the school educational system and learns how teachers all over Russia perceive new technological tools and instruments created to improve learning process and performance of their students. In particular, Katerina travels to Chelyabinsk, where she meets with Olga Timofeeva, an iEARN teacher and Adobe Youth Voices Program participant, who has been actively integrating the work with Adobe Photoshop and Premier software in her classes of English language.

Olga advises teachers in Russia not to be afraid to open up to and integrate new media technologies in their classes as well as to get used to new virtual forms of professional development and communication. "Blogging for teachers, for instance," says Olga, "becomes a more and more usual practice".
