iEARN at the Global Education Conference, November 13-16, 2016

The Call for Proposals is now open for iEARN sessions at the Global Education Conference, a week-long online event open to all that brings together participants from around the world for virtual presentations and sharing. This virtual conference event will run 24/7 from November 13-16, 2016.

This year, iEARN at the Global Education Conference will invite educators, youth, and other partners and innovators to submit proposals that share examples and collaborative projects related to connecting classrooms and youth programs, with a strong emphasis on promoting global awareness, fostering global competency, and inspiring action towards solving real–world problems.  ALL iEARN participants are invited to attend, since attendance at this event requires no travel or logistics other than finding a way to get online!

iEARN participants will also have access to the sessions provided by educators and students who are part of the Global Education Conference. To submit a proposal to present, follow the detailed directions listed here.  Proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis starting August 1, 2016, and the call for proposals will close on November 1, 2016. Present in your time zone at a time that is convenient to you!

Presentation sessions, which can be in any language, should be at least 30 minutes or more in length, and all sessions must be completed (including Questions & Answers) within one hour. Some presentations ideas for educators and youth include:
