First Virtual Educa Caribbean Conference

iEARN-Netherlands, iEARN-Suriname, and iEARN-USA recently connected at the First Virtual Educa Caribbean Conference in Paramaribo, Suriname -- February 29-March 2, 2012. 

The team shared how schools in Suriname and other Caribbean countries are engaging students in collaborative project work, and provided participants with an overview of ways to engage globally, including iEARN professional development, youth exchange (the YES Program) and the Global Teenager Project.
