Waters That Join Us

waters that join us logoThere are several countries which are bordered by rivers or lakes. They divide the nations, but they also connect them in positive and negative sense. History shows us a waterbarrage can cause serious political conflicts, pollution is a common problem, but otherwise inhabitants in different countries on the riverside have somehow similar way of life, they tell the similar stories, sing the same songs.

During the first two years, participants from Hungary, Belarus, Macedonia and Romania focused on the Danube, the Tisa, the Neman and Ohrid-lake. We invite others to join us!
