In the Generations Can Connect Project, young people around the world will learn about their communities, cultures, and countries¹ histories through the living memories of their communities¹ seniors. Students will establish relationships with seniors in their communities, and honor these seniors and elders through the recording and celebration of their lives through the creation of web pages and websites. Young people will learn that older people have much knowledge and wisdom to share. Seniors will learn that young people have much to share as well. Both youth and seniors will begin to break down the prejudicial barriers between generations. They will learn that everyone must play a part in creating and sustaining our community. Participants will learn that we need to become a ³Community of Learners.²
