Video features SchoolNet/iEARN-Uganda's April Adobe Youth Voices Workshop
From April 23-26, 2012, SchoolNet/iEARN-Uganda held a 4-day Face-to-Face training workshop for Adobe Youth Voices educators who had completed the iEARN-Adobe Youth Voices (AYV) online course for the 2011/2012 project cycle.
The workshop aimed at equipping the educators with knowledge and skills to enable them to work with their youth artists to create with a purpose media for social change. Training Facilitators were Daniel Kakinda (iEARN-Uganda/AYV Coordinator) and Henry Sempangi Sanyulye (AYV Lead Educator). Adobe Youth Voices is Adobe's global philanthropic initiative that empowers youth worldwide to comment on their world using multimedia and digital tools to communicate and share their ideas, demonstrate their potential, and take action in their communities. iEARN is one of five founding non-profit partners who helped to launch the Adobe Youth Voices program in 2006, and is currently administering Adobe Youth Voices programs in over 20 countries around the world.
