iEARN-Yemen hosts global project-based learning workshop in Sana’a
On February 10th and 11th, iEARN-Yemen conducted the second face to face workshop in Sana’a as part of the Christopher Stevens Youth Network, funded by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
In this workshop, 12 teachers from three governorates: Sana’a, Taiz and Hajja, were introduced to the Christopher Stevens Youth Network program and iEARN: how to register, how to interact with other members, how to implement an iEARN project and how to involve students in the various steps of project implementation.
Teachers were eager to get their students involved in global projects and will be working on five projects once they go back to their schools. In addition, 9 teachers will be participating in an online course between February and April to gain additional experience in global project-based learning methodologies and connect with other colleagues from around the world.
