iEARN-Yemen hosts “Youth Learning for Change” Workshops

February, 12 2013

From February 2-7, iEARN-Yemen conducted two workshops in Hadramouat and Hajja governorates as part of the “Youth Learning for Change” Project, supported by MEPI.

Around 15 teachers and 25 students from each governorate were trained on essential life skills, conflict resolution, community-based project design and management, time management, peer education, and how to utilize these skills to work in collaboration in iEARN.

All participants became members of iEARN and collaborated with their peers who joined iEARN in previous years. Moreover, the ten participating schools from the Hajjah and Hadhramout governorates produced ten community-based project proposals which they will implement in the coming two months and will post them on iEARN Network.
