Ukrainian students present to Czech students the book "Czech in Kharkiv" as the result of the common project (at the camp in Slovakia, October, 2000)

My name is Marina Kornienko from Kharkiv (Ukraine) and I am a computer teacher at the school 55 and coordinator of I*EARN of this school and Kharkiv Region.

Our school has participated in the program I*EARN since October 1998. (we took part in more than 30 national and international projects and more than 450 of them).

 

Students Tatyana Gurkina and Helena Strelchenko and teacher Marina Kornienko were the coordinators of national project "We and our names". Tatyana and Helena are also active participants of other projects.

 

 

 

 

 

We incorporate I*EARN projects into classrooms. We try to communicate students' groups and teachers of difference lessons. We communicate lessons of Ukraine (Russian, English) language and Computer Science.

 

 

The students and physic teacher Olga Borisovna Trikoz after the physical experiments for the national Ukrainian project "How to become an Olympic champion?"

Last year only some students and one teacher worked in project "Laws of Life". We organized the discussion of these works on the students' seminar on May 2000. This year we have 3 Kharkiv schools, 9 teachers and more than 200 students in the project "Laws of Life". They write the stories in the Ukrainian, Russian and English. Computer science teachers from our school are active participants of the program.(School-55, Kharkiv, Ukraine)

There are students from 2 Kharkiv schools in the project "Dream school" who write essays. And we have more than 20 pictures from16 Kharkiv schools and 3 ones from other Ukrainian schools due to yearly Computer Competition for students till 12. We began to make web-page too. There are 5 teachers with students take part in the project "Summer of passing millenium"
