This year, more than ever before, the Holocaust/Genocide Project was presented to teachers at workshops and conferences -- the New York State English Council (NYSEC) conference; the "World Links Conference" at the World Bank in Washington, DC; at a symposium on the Holocaust, directed by Ilya Altman, in Moscow, Russia; at the Long Island Language Arts Council Conference (LILAC); and, at a conference at Cortland State University, New York, on "Children and the Holocaust."
In addition, students Brendan Condon, Matt London, David Lebensfeld, Laurie Cherpock, and Lauren Gaito, from Cold Spring Harbor High School, were invited by Professor Millard Clements to present the Holocaust/Genocide Project to thirty teachers-in-training at the School of Education of New York University, New York.
