Canada

iEARN Canada is a recently registered Non Profit Organization, and has been active in iEARN since 1992. iEARN Canada has many schools across the county participating in projects such as Art Miles, The Teddy Bear Project, Machinto, My Hero Learning Circles and Taking Kites. Dominican Republic

iEARN-Dominican Republic works in close coordination with the World
Links global school network. There are currently 22 Dominican schools
from varying education levels participating in national and
international collaborative projects.

Jamaica

iEARN-Jamaica is part of a broad coalition of public and private organizations working to enhance basic and science education in Jamaica. Working with Dr. Julius Garvey, iEARN is training teachers on computer use and applications in the classroom. Recent workshops involving 26 schools in St. Catherine's Parish, as well as schools in Kingston and Montego Bay. iEARN is working with the Marcus Garvey Foundation for Education and Human Development, which has launched Education 2000.

Puerto Rico

iEARN OrillasThe iEARN ORILLAS Center in Puerto Rico involves schools throughout the island and is based at the University of Puerto Rico. Center schools have been active in bi-lingual and cross-cultural telecommunications since the 1980s. Orillas has been an iEARN Center since 1995. The iEARN Center hosted the 1999 iEARN International Conference and Youth Summit.

Suriname

Schools in Suriname have been involved in iEARN since 1998 and are working on environmental and other projects. They have shared this project work at several iEARN international conferences.  Recently, iEARN-Suriname has undertaken Teacher Training workshops, in which the Ministry of Education has participated.

Trinidad & Tobago

iEARN Trinidad and TobagoSchools in Trinidad & Tobago have been involved in iEARN since 2001through the assistance of the Sister Cities program there.


United States

iEARN-USA has a national office in New York City. Participating schools are throughout the country. iEARN-USA is assisted by a number of Regional groups and trainers across the country.. iEARN-USA offers both face-to-face and online professional development. In 2003, iEARN-USA was awarded the prestigious Goldman Sachs Foudation Award for Excellence in International Education. In 2004, iEARN-USA was recognized as a Laureate in the Education category of the Tech Museum Awards for technology benefitting humanity.
