Accessing iEARN Discussion Forums - Three Options

Option 1. Via WWW-based forums:

• Go to: http://amity.iearn.org/signin.lasso to enter the iEARN database and or obtain a password to update your "My iEARN Page" and then move to REGISTER as an iEARN forum user
• On the database log in page, type in:
  • e-mail address (it needs to match the one in our database. If you are a new member, contact us at password@iearn.org
  • Password (if you are in the database, but need an initial password, one can be sent to you from http://amity.iearn.org/hallpass.lasso
• Once you have logged into the database, you will be taken to your iEARN "My Page." At the bottom of this page, you can check the User Name you will use to access the forums, and can also register additional Users (students) under your account. (Look for the link to: "iEARN Forum Users Assigned To You You also may register new users.")
• Next time, when you go to: http://foro.iearn.org, log-in with this/these User Names and Passwords:

Option 3. Via e-mail

Send a message to: subscribe@us.iearn.org

• In the message tell us which forum you would like to receive via e-mail (iearn-teachers, iearn-planet, iearn-inside, etc.)
• Replying to a received message will be automatically addressed back to the forum.
• Subscribers may send a new message to a forum at the following address example:
  • For the Teachers Lounge (iearn-teachers):

  iearn-teachers@us.iearn.org

Option 2. Via Off-line News readers, such as Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger, Free Agent, etc.

• Register at http://foro.iearn.org as in Option #1 above
• for help with Outlook Express, click here
• for help with Netscape Messenger, click here
• Select the forums to which you would like to "subscribe"
