iEARN-Armenia is coordinated out of the National Children's Library in Yerevan, with financial support from the Open Society Foundation. Several professional development workshops have been held for teachers from communities across the country. In September 2009, iEARN-Armenia conducted a series of 9-week online professional development courses in Armenian. The topics of courses were "Educational Standards in Armenia" and "Europe at the School." 35 teachers from all regions of Armenia took part in these trainings. In January, a face-to-face meeting with online courses participants was held at the National Children’s Library of Armenia.
